Penny Poulton

PRESIDENT - 2025
​
Penny is the CEO of the Willing & Able Foundation, based in Port Macquarie, and brings extensive experience in the community services sector. Her previous executive roles span aged care and disability services, with a strong focus on volunteer coordination and human resource management. Penny has been a proud resident of the Port Macquarie Hastings area since 2004, and is passionate about supporting inclusive, community-driven initiatives.

Carol Appleton

VICE PRESIDENT - 2015

Carol has a successful office accounting business in the Port Macquarie Hastings region. Carol's career includes a background in the health and fitness industry. She enjoys being an active member of the management committee and previously held the position of Treasurer for many years.

Frances Lingard

TREASURER - 2019
Frances Lingard retired to Port Macquarie in 2001 after 30 years in the work force as an Accounts Department Supervisor covering both Debtors, Creditors and Banking. During her retirement, Frances volunteered for 17 years with the Port Macquarie Dog Obedience Club as Assistant Treasurer, associated with all aspects of Obedience, Agility Trialling and Conformation Shows.
Frances has volunteered for in excess of 15 years with the Port Macquarie Neighbourhood Centre and has held the position of Treasurer for the past 6 years.

Linda Hodge

SECRETARY - 2023
​
Linda has always been interested in her helping her community.  During her career as a dietitian, Linda volunteered for membership and executive committee roles in the Dietitians Association Food Standards Committee, Food Allergy and Intolerance Committee, Asthma NSW Medical Advisory Board and the National Asthma Council.  Her experience in committees inspired her to take on the role as secretary in the large (355 unit) strata development where she lived until moving to Port Macquarie in 2023.  Linda is now proud to be helping her new community as Secretary of the HNS board.

Lesley Tierney

COMMITTEE MEMBER - 1994
​

Lesley has been living in Port Macquarie for 55 years and has always been very involved in her community. She helped establish the Port/Hastings Domestic violence service and served on the board from 1980 to 2017. She has been a member of the Port Macquarie Neighbourhood Centre management committee for 25 years and also served on the ACES disability service s board since 1992.

Bev Harvey

COMMITTEE MEMBER - 2011

Bev is a retired educator. Together with her husband they decided to retire in Port Macquarie 15 yrs ago.
​Bev is very involved in her community and volunteers for several local not-for-profit organisations. She loves her volunteer work and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.

Charlotte Gillespie

COMMITTEE MEMBER - 2013

Charlotte has lived in the Hastings since 1993. She has a background in Management and Quality Assurance in Health Care Facilities as well as Banking and Finance. Charlotte has held a directorship for an Educational Institution and has a Bachelor of Economics. In 2017 she attended AICD Company Directors Course. Charlotte has an interest in giving back to her community and started volunteering at PMNC in 2010 and joined the committee in 2013.
